Almost vacations....!!!!!

2 more weeks and we're over!!!!! I look back since we started this school year cycle and wow! We have been producing a lot of art! I am very very happy about my students' results, they are very creative and original but most important, they enjoy the lessons which makes me even more happier. I don't have enough time to publish my students' artwork but I will do it definitely these holidays.
This is the closure week of our second unit, next week.......FREE ART WORK!!!
In the next days I will post all of my studentss work from the different lesson we saw during the bimester, I just leave you here our art room!!!

Another month ends. First bimester ended. It has been a great experience teaching art to students from 3rd to 9th grade. Although I have to confess that it is too much work researching and preparing lots of classes. But I have a great time teaching to these kids. They are very creative, original and amazing. I think they enjoy art class they way I do because I see them happy (I hope so). I will upload some images about the students' art work. These ones down here are from 8th grade. They studied environmental art. After watching a Ppt presentation about several artists working this kind of art, students went outside to the school yard and picked up different nature elements such as stones, branches, leaves and seeds. They created very original works of art and the best thing was, that they enjoyed very much.

I think this is one of the beautiful things of being a teacher, watching your students using all their imagination and creativity, exploring materials, getting concentrated in producing art....that's wonderful!
